【Xinhua News Agency】, Beijing, April 14th (Reporter Zhao Wanwei)  The 10th World Radar Expo 2023 will be held in Beijing from the 13th to the 15th. The theme of this expo is "Radar Integration with the World, Digital Intelligence Leading the Future", with a focus on empowering cutting-edge radar technologies and industrial applications, comprehensively showcasing new technologies, products, and formats in the radar industry.

         According to the organizing committee, the World Radar Expo has been held every two years since 2001 and has become a comprehensive platform for global radar industry product display, technological innovation, exchange and cooperation, and ecological cultivation. The third "Radar and the Future" Global Summit held simultaneously in 2023 gathered over a hundred guests, including academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, renowned experts, and industry elites, to focus on academic frontiers and industrial development for discussion.

        This year's expo focuses on creating three exhibition areas: radar empowerment for defense and security, radar empowerment for various industries, and cutting-edge technology and digital economy, covering both indoor and outdoor areas, with interactive experience areas set up. Emphasis will be placed on showcasing the application achievements and broad prospects of advanced technologies in the fields of radar and electronic information, as well as empowering smart cities, intelligent transportation, meteorology and hydrology, smart agriculture, smart healthcare, disaster prevention and reduction, emergency response, intelligent manufacturing, and industrial foundations.

       A series of advanced meteorological monitoring radar products that can sensitively perceive subtle weather changes were exhibited at the expo. They can quickly monitor medium and small scale disastrous weather such as storm, rainstorm, hail, gale, etc., provide early warning information, help people take effective defense measures in time, and provide more accurate data support for weather forecast.

        It is reported that the World Radar Expo is jointly organized by the China Radar Industry Association, China Electronics Technology Group Co., Ltd., and China Electronics Information Industry Group Co., Ltd. It is committed to building an international, professional, and industrialized cooperation and exchange platform for the global radar industry, promoting the prosperous development of the radar and electronic information fields.
